The energy supply is in a lot of African countries not always a given, let alone a reliabe supply. Our Energy Foundation provides institutions and schools in Africa with a reliable energy supply. With our projects, we support the most needy. We therefore support organizations, who have a large impact on the local people.

Make the difference!

A lot of our projects dont have any form of electricity, that is why a small energysupply can make a big difference. Between 18:00 and 19:00 hours there is sundown in Africa. The lighting of buildings with a couple of LED lights can make schools give education at night. Or clinics at night can give emergency treatments, which else have to be delayed until the morning. Next to that there is the possibility for digital education and the charging of cellphones, in many cases this is the only possiblity for communcation or doing finances.

This is only small sample of all the ways a reliable energy supply improves the quality of life. Look at our projects and see, how we make that difference

Hello sunshine!

Africa doesn't lack sunlight. We therefore can use the sunlight for generating energy. Solar energy is clean and safe energysource, with which we can generate a sustainable energy supply. A small installation with a couple of solar panels can make the difference for a school or bigger installiaton for regional hospital.

Next to generating energy, we also look at saving of energy with more efficient of ways of dealing with the generated energy. For example by replacing old lighting methods for more energy friendly LED-lights

The four pillars of our foundation

Geen geld en geen kosten
We don't give money, but support projects with solar energy. We always go for the sustainable solution. All of the money, that we get goes for a 100% to the projects in Africa.

Small projects
Every potential project will be visited to asses the added value and necissity of our aid. We also look at the transparancy and stability of the project organization.

Local participation
If possible we work with local suppliers to build the projects and we care for guidance and education with the delivery of the project.

Yearly visits
Yearly we try to return to our projects so that together with the project organization, we check how the system is working and see if we can aid further. On average we keep connected with a project for 3 to 5 years.
